Hattie McPhee’s Mediterranean cheese has a bright, tangy flavour with subtle notes of creaminess and a slightly salty, briny finish that enhances its natural freshness. Its distinctive taste provides a wonderful contrast to sweet, earthy, or roasted ingredients, making it highly versatile in both cold and warm dishes.
A crumbly brined salad style goat’s milk cheese goes well in a beetroot, pear and walnut salad, crumbled over a pizza or even whizzed up in a ‘whipped feta dip’ – great with crusty bread, crudités and crackers.
Our goat’s cheese is handcrafted onsite at Appleby Creamery using pasteurised milk sourced from Meaburn Hall Farm, a family-run goat farm located less than eight miles from our site.
